Worth Park today The Montefiore Mansion was demolished in 1968 and replaced by Milton Mount Flats. However, Ridley’s Court, the Victorian Stable block remains. Only the core parts of the gardens and park survived because substantial areas of the park were released for development of residential housing.

Character Areas Crawley Borough Council and our Landscape Architects,  Allan Scott, have subdivided Worth Park into seven distinct areas : The Upper and Italian Terrace (1) Formal Gardens (Camellia Walk surrounding the Sundial, Dutch and Fountain Garden (2)          Forecourt with Rockery (including old carriage turn circle) (3) Ridley’s Court (the former stable quadrangle) (4) The Lawns (including Crawley Croquet Club.) (5) The Central Parkland (6) The Lake and Woodland (7)
