Sunday 22nd December 2019 - 11:15 to 12:45 After the last week of heavy rain and flooding, it was good to be able to walk around the park in the dry and sun. The level of the water in the lake is very high. Two Cormorants were fishing. We did not see any Egyptian Geese or even any Mallard. The flood meadow in Grattons Park has done its job. The expanse of flood water has gone down. The stream is flowing quickly but is still held within its meandering banks. We only added Jackdaw and Goldcrest to our sightings. A full list of the birds seen is in the Bird Table .
