Sunday 11th October 2020 - 10:15 to 12:15 A very pleasant walk around the park in the autumn sunshine after all the rain and grey skies. No new birds this time. The highlight was seeing the Kingfisher flying past shining blue in the sunlight. The full family of Egyptian Geese were resting on the bank. The five goslings are nearly as big as the adults and they are moulting into their new feathers. A Grey Heron was preening on the large island. Only one gull, a Black-headed was on the lake. A full list of birds seen is given in the Bird Table .
