For once it was not raining. Eventually a low sun peeped through under the dark
clouds to cheer us up.
Several
Canada Geese
and
Gulls
were back on the lake.
One
Egyptian Goose
was standing guard on the small Pulham island. It is looking
quite likely that the second one is nesting on the largest island. Let us hope so.
With some searching we found a few small birds, including:
Goldcrest
;
Long-tailed
Tit
;
House Sparrow
and a pair of
Chaffinches
.
We walked through the mud around Grattons Park and added
Redwing
,
Goldfinch
and
Cormorant
to our list.
A full list of birds seen is given in the
Bird Table
.
