Friday 5th March 2021 - 10:00 to 11:30 It was sunny but chilly with a crisp breeze. The Egyptian goslings are growing well and their first adult feathers are coming through. There are four left now (out of seven). A single Greylag Goose was with the many Canada Geese again. The Coots are getting even more argumentative. The Mallards and Moorhens are getting even more possessive. The Great Crested Grebes are still here. The first of the early migrants should be appearing soon and our winter visitors will be leaving. A full list of birds seen is given in the Bird Table .
