It was a dry, bright day among the many wet and windy days we have been enduring. The two adult Egyptian Geese were grazing on the meadow with the flock of Canada Geese . I wonder if - and how early - they might breed this year? One Greylag Goose was on the lake with the gulls and water birds. There were 3 new hybrid ducks on the lake. Mostly Mallard but with black and white patches. One, a female, was an attractive ginger / cinnamon colour (see photo below). Maybe they flew here or they might have been dumped.
