Sunday 9th January 2022 - 11:00 to 12:30 We were a bit late making our "first list of the year". It was a clear sunny day and such a relief after the grey, wet weather. A Greylag goose was a returning occasional visitor. The young Mute Swan, one Great Crested Grebe and the two Egyptian Geese were present. The early Camellia was still flowering in the triangle woods. There were fresh catkins on some of the hazel trees. There were Grey Squirrels everywhere. A full list of birds seen is given in the Bird Table.
